Prenatal & Postnatal
50 min

Movement adapted to every trimester and to recovery after birth, led by prenatal trained instructors. Small groups, no rushing, and a teacher who knows what to change and when.
What a class looks like
We work on the reformer at light to moderate spring settings, with positions chosen for where you are. That means side lying and supported seated work as pregnancy progresses, and a gradual return to load afterwards. The focus is breath, hips, back and the deep abdominal support that takes the most disruption on both sides of birth.
Nothing is compulsory. If a position is not comfortable today, we swap it, and that is a normal part of the class rather than an interruption.
Who it is for
Anyone pregnant past the first twelve weeks, and anyone returning after birth. Both groups train in the same room, which turns out to be one of the better parts of the class.
Before you book
Please get clearance from your midwife, obstetrician or GP first, and bring us anything they have told you to avoid. If you had a caesarean or a complicated delivery, we will usually suggest starting with a private session so we can go at your pace before you join the group.
What to bring
Grippy socks, water, and layers. Babies are welcome in the postnatal slots on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and there is space at the side of the room for prams.
