Stretch & Restore
50 min

Slow, supported movement and long holds. Leave lighter than you arrived. There is no tempo to keep up with and nothing to push through.
What a class looks like
We use the reformer at its lightest settings, plus bolsters, blocks and straps, to support the body in positions you can actually relax into. Holds run from one to three minutes. Between them we come back to the breath, which is where most of the work quietly happens.
The room is dimmed and the music is low. Nobody will ask you to hold a plank.
Who it is for
Everyone, and particularly anyone who trains hard elsewhere. Runners, cyclists, people who lift, and people who spend nine hours at a desk all get something out of it. It is also a good first class if a full reformer session feels like too much to walk into.
What to bring
Warm layers. You will not generate much heat and the room is deliberately calm rather than hot. Socks, and a jumper for the last ten minutes.
Good to know
Most people book this as a second or third class in their week rather than their only one. Friday evening is the busiest slot, for reasons that need no explaining.
